Ready to move beyond camera settings and make photographs that express your own way of seeing? The Path of Vision is a six-class course for photographers who know the basics and want to strengthen their skills, refresh their creativity, and develop a personal photographic voice.
Through practical exercises, demonstrations, and supportive group discussions, we’ll explore camera controls, expressive light, composition, focal length choice, and editing choices that strengthen an image. Students will work toward a small, cohesive collection of photographs reflecting their individual interests and vision. Bring a digital camera with manual exposure controls and a willingness to experiment.
Professional equipment is not required. A laptop and RAW editing software, such as Lightroom or a comparable program, will be needed for editing sessions.
Students do not need expensive gear or to replace current equipment. An older DSLR or mirrorless camera is perfectly suitable.
