Playing w/ Color Quilt - One Day Workshop | Saturday, April 18, 2026 | 10:00AM – 11:00AM | All Levels | Open 3rd - 6th Grades
Instructor: Kate Spencer from Lady Kate Quilting Designs | Cost: $25This hands-on, child-friendly workshop is perfect for beginners. No sewing experience required! Students will work with a curated collection of small fabric swatches in a variety of colors and patterns, encouraging playful experimentation and building confidence in personal design choices.
Through guided activities, participants will explore the basics of color theory and composition, learning how colors, patterns, and placement work together. Depending on the final format, students may also create a simple take-home artwork by arranging fabric scraps on a small canvas board, allowing them to leave with a finished piece that reflects their creative exploration.
No prior quilting or art experience needed. Just bring your curiosity and love of color!
