In this mini-series, students will explore photography as well as sketching and mixed media art. Week 1 will begin with an overview of photography, covering camera basics as well as composition of images. In weeks 2-4, students will participate in nature photography and sketching, portrait photography, and mixed media work (including collage). The final week will feature matting and preparing images, ending with a final critique with peers and your instructor.
Supplies Required: : DSLR, point and shoot, phone, or polaroid camera. Sketchbook and pens or pencils, watercolor set if desired
A minimum of 4 students is needed for this workshop. Please register by Sunday, June 9. Maximum of 15 students.
