Experience the gentle and supportive practice of our 60-minute Chair Yoga class. During exhibition transitions (2–3 weeks), class will meet in our Community Room, a serene space inspired by art and nature. This unique session invites you to connect with your body and breath through seated and supported movements, surrounded by thought-provoking artwork that encourages relaxation and reflection.
Bring water, comfortable clothing, an open heart, and a willingness to move in ways that feel good for your body. Chairs are provided.
What to Expect:
Gentle Warm-Up: Begin with slow, mindful movements and breathing exercises to awaken the body, release tension, and center the mind.
Seated Flow & Supported Movement: Explore a series of seated and standing (chair-supported) poses designed to improve flexibility, balance, circulation, and strength. Movements are accessible and adaptable for all ability levels.
Mindful Connection: Throughout class, you’ll be encouraged to move at your own pace, using the chair for stability and support while focusing on breath and body awareness.
Cool Down & Relaxation: Conclude with gentle stretches and a guided relaxation or meditation, offering a peaceful moment of gratitude and calm.
All levels are welcome in this nurturing experience that blends movement, mindfulness, and art. Join us to stretch, breathe, and connect in a supportive and inspiring space.
