In this workshop, students get to be creative AND work with plants! Kokedama is a Japanese planting technique that involves creating a ball of moss and twine around a plant's roots. The root word ‘koke” means moss, and “dama” means ball. This technique is a bonsai variant and a unique way to display plants! Join us in planting your own Kokedama ball to display in your home!

About the Instructor:

Samantha (Sam) Watts is the founder of the Split Leaf Co., a plant boutique offering both ready-to-display natural works of art and offering instruction in the care of plants and the creation of unique nature-inspired works. The Split Leaf Co. was founded in 2020 after Watts left the military and discovered the calming and peaceful effect of plants! Since then, she's had a passion for plants and sharing her knowledge and the transformative effects plants can have with others.

A minimum of 3 students is needed for this workshop, please register by Sunday, May 5. Maximum 20 students.
