Fiber Foundations & Comparisons: From Raw to Refined - One Day Workshop

Open to Adults & Ages 10+ (with accompanied adult) Instructor: Jenifer Myka
Wednesday April 8, 2026 | TIME: 11:00AM - 1:00PM

All Levels | Cost: $50

An educational and tactile journey through the world of natural fibers — from raw Suri alpaca locks fresh off the animal to supple, finished yarn and fiber art pieces. Participants explore and handle samples from Suri and Huacaya alpaca, mohair, angora, and several types of wool, learning how structure and sheen shape the look and feel of the finished textile.

Jennifer shares stories of the animals and farms behind the fibers, revealing how biology, texture, and art interconnect in every strand. Perfect for those curious about what makes each fiber unique — and how to choose the right one for their creative projects!

**Please note: Once payment is received, workshop/1-day class fees are non-refundable
