All levels, Adults & 13+ | Instructor: Trish Weeks
Saturday, October 19th 9:30AM-4PM $150 ($15 discount to MAC Members - use code WEEKS at checkout)
In the morning Trish will give a brief introduction to composition and color theory; but mostly she demonstrates her palette knife painting techniques that are fun and give quick results. In the afternoon the workshop gives the students an opportunity to try the new techniques with coaching from Trish. Experience the joy of clean color and energy in your painting. These techniques work well for both studio and plein aire painting.
Trish has taught one and two-day workshops at The Women’s Club of Cincinnati for the last 9 years, The Women’s Art Club, and The Art League of Hilton Head.
Her students and collectors have commented:
— “Trish’s paintings always jump with color.” - Dale Wolf (student and editor of Imagine Magazine)
— "Her work is loosely painted, energetic and expressive.” - Christopher A Yates (The Columbus Dispatch)
— “Weeks is a passionate, intuitive painter, layering loads of color to emulate the landscapes she’s so attracted to.” - Stacy Higgins (The Art Mag)
