YOUNG ARTIST WORKSHOP  (Grades 1 - 6)

No previous experience necessary and each term is unique to previous terms. These classes are designed to develop creativity in the individual and to teach age appropriate basic art concepts and skills.

    KIDS DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY        
    (Grades 3 - 6)

    Tuition: $50.00 each term (must supply own digital camera, spec sheet available if needed).      
      Come join us for an interactive hands-on photography experience geared toward children. Children will start with camera familiarization and move into topics such as basic composition and lighting, image storage, computer connection and obtaining prints.

    Using children’s literature as a basis for our weekly art project we will explore different approaches to creating art, and work developing the skills needed at this age. This will include colors, shapes, cutting & pasting, painting etc.

    ENAMELING      
    Instructor: Jean Vance      
Tuition: $50.00 Each term
Lab Fee: $10.00 Each Term
   

Students will learn the many techniques of manipulating powdered, lump and thread glass using copper bases for their creations. The Instructor will do the firings necessary for the finished pieces so the students will not be handling the hot art, but will learn how it’s done.
